CDET OMEGA Non Electric Delay Detonators

CDET OMEGA is a shock tube based initiating device used for true bottom initiation of the bore hole in blasting.
It has the following advantages:

● Suppression of airblast.
● Ground vibrations can be controlled.
● True bottom initiation can be achieved.
● Higher explosive efficiency can be derived.
● Toe initiation resulting in generation of greater and loose muck pile, reducing the cycle time of operation.
● Eliminates the risks of accidental initiation by stray currents, static charges and radio frequency signals.

CDET OMEGA DTHD
(DOWN THE HOLE DELAY SHOCK TUBE DETONATOR)

DTHD consists of a Shock Tube with a Delay Detonator on one end and a Detonating Fuse Connector on the other end.

It can be used in combination with Surface Trunk Line Delay Detonator (STLD) and it provides unlimited delay periods and sequences to conduct large scale blasts.

DTHD comes in delay periods of 200 ms, 250 ms, 400 ms and 450 ms or as per customers requirements. The higher delay timing of DTHD enables blasting the first borehole when the surface initiation is completed or far off from the first borehole. This helps in eliminating the probable cut-off of the shock tube on the surface due to the blasted rock from the first hole.

CDET OMEGA STLD
(SURFACE TRUNKLINE DELAY SHOCK TUBE DETONATOR)

STLD consists of a Shock Tube with a Delay Detonator housed in a suitable connector on one end and a sealed end on the other side.

The Connector has the provision to connect 6 Shock Tubes for initiation. STLD is available in 0 ms, 17 ms, 25 ms, 42 ms, 65 ms and 100 ms delay intervals or as per customers requirements.

CDET OMEGA STLD is used in combination with Down the Hole Delay detonator (DTHD) and provides unlimited delay periods and sequences to conduct large scale blasts.

CDET OMEGA DUALDET
(COMBINATION OF DTHD AND STLD)

Dualdet comprises of both DTHD and STLD in one set. Dualdet consists of a coil of shocktube, one end of which is crimped with DTHD and the other end is crimped with STLD. Thus Dualdet is useful for down the hole delay initiation and also surface initiation in the blast.

Dualdet is useful in those mines where the drilling and charge loading patterns are fixed. This enables to reduce the waste of shock tube in the usage of DTHD and STLD separately.

CDET OMEGA Dualdet provides unlimited delay periods and sequences to conduct large scale blasts. Dualdet is available as per the customer's requirement up to 50 meter lengths. The delay timings of Dualdet are combination of the timings of DTHD and STLD or as per customers requirements.
